Peppers Ghost Module _ 3D Video
During my internship at FabLab RUC, I leveraged the available resources to explore a personal passion project based on the “Pepper’s Ghost” phenomenon. This optical illusion technique involves reflecting a video at a 45-degree angle onto a clear medium, creating the appearance of a floating image.
I developed a prototype rig using four screens playing synchronised videos, reflected to create a 360-degree faux-3D effect, giving viewers the illusion of a floating image from any angle.
