Working hand in hand with the small business owner of Moon & Water, I created a logo that would encapsulate the brand, giving a sense of holistic care and wellness, tinge with a taste of astrology.
Incorporating the namesake of the moon and the star sign for Aquarius, I led the client through iterations until a winning combination was found for this lifestyle brand. The addition of monochrome hands relates to the fact that this business is led by a person of colour. Though she took special attention to make sure her products are well tailored for people not usually attended to by the lifestyle industry, she didn’t want to be pigeon-holed and wanted her products to cross boundaries.
